How do we rank the cosplay bestsellers?
We use a simple, public score: (average rating − 4.0) × verified review volume. A cosplay piece rated 4.7 with 543 reviews scores 0.7 × 543 = 380 points; a piece rated 4.9 with 67 reviews scores 0.9 × 67 = 60. The 4.0 floor keeps mid-rated pieces out of the leaderboard even if they sell. The formula is intentionally linear in volume — we want pieces genuinely backed by the community to beat under-tested niche picks.
Why aren't our cosplay bestsellers the same as AliExpress's?
Because we aggregate verified reviews from our verified partners, not AliExpress reviews. On AliExpress, the top sellers are often €18 pieces with 50,000 mostly unreliable reviews. Our ranking reflects what works in the serious cosplay ecosystem: €50–250 pieces, convention-grade, convention-ready, shipped with clean spec sheets and a partner after-sales process.
How does the current drop affect the bestsellers ranking?
It doesn't mechanically — the ranking is purely (rating × review volume), not arrival date. In practice, the Sakura SS26 drop pieces (Korura Club, May 2026) enter the calculation as soon as they collect their first verified reviews, and climb fast if the community validates them. Cosplay bestsellers and new arrivals live in the same ranking — no algorithmic favoritism either way.
