COOKIE POLICY

Last updated: 2026-05-25

cosplaydrop.com uses cookies in two categories: functional cookies (always on, strictly necessary for the site to work) and analytics + advertising cookies (loaded only after you accept the banner). You can change your choice at any time at the bottom of this page.

Functional cookies (always on)

Necessary for the site to function — no consent required, no tracking purpose.

  • cosplaydrop_consent_v2 (localStorage): records your consent state across the 7 GDPR / Consent Mode v2 categories. Duration: until you clear it.
  • cosplaydrop_lang: selected display language. Duration: 1 year.

Analytics cookies (consent required)

Loaded via Google Tag Manager only after you accept the banner. Purpose: measure traffic, page-view counts, conversion paths.

  • _ga (Google Analytics 4): pseudonymous user identifier. Duration: 2 years.
  • _ga_<container> (Google Analytics 4): session state. Duration: 2 years.

Advertising cookies (consent required)

Loaded via Google Tag Manager only after you accept the banner. Purpose: measure ad campaign performance, build retargeting audiences, deduplicate conversions across networks.

  • _fbp / _fbc (Meta Pixel): first-party Facebook / Instagram identifiers + click-through tracking. Duration: 90 days.
  • _ttp (TikTok Pixel): TikTok Pixel visitor identifier. Duration: 13 months.
  • _gcl_au / _gcl_aw (Google Ads): Google Ads conversion linker + click ID. Duration: 90 days.

Consent Mode v2

We implement Google Consent Mode v2 (mandatory in the EU since March 2024). Until you accept the banner, every Google / Meta / TikTok tag receives a denied signal — they fire anonymous pingbacks only, no identifiable cookies are written. On accept, the tags switch to granted mode and full measurement resumes. On reject, they stay in denied mode and only the functional cookies above are written.

Local storage (non-cookie)

  • wishlist (localStorage): products you saved to your wishlist. Stored only in your browser, never transmitted. Clearable from your browser settings.
